yeah, that’s right, 9:30pm. it was windy ALL day. head wind. huge whitecaps. woke up to the tent blowing in. found a semi-sheltered spot up on the ridge overlooking jungle ridge creek and set up the tarp. hunkered down for the day writing letters, making pancakes, maintaining the stove, washing undies, washing dishes, eating more. it calmed down enough in the late evening for us to take off. rain held all day until we were in the boat. so it goes.
