decided to rest here due to hefty headwind on day 17 and just plain being tired. swam off the boat several times yesterday and saw our first barge pass on the deh cho (saw one previously on the liard, it was much smaller). the wind flipped the canoe in the middle of the night, luckily we tie it down. emma went out in the morning and set it at a better angle to the wind.
