smoky today. a midst the 15ish km of rapids we had to get ashore and wait out the smoke and thunderstorm that moved in. we didn’t really see it coming because there was too much smoke in the air. we were SO happy to get to our rocky island after the rapids, weeks of worrying about them come to an end. the canyon is beautyfull. it is SO beautyfull here.
